The next phase of our tower journey is underway. Today, we launched Al Abraj, our newly established TowerCo entity in Qatar and the first operational carve-out under Ooredoo’s TowerCo initiative.

This milestone reflects the progress we are making under our RISE strategy as we continue to evolve from a traditional telecom operator into a leading digital infrastructure provider.

Infrastructure has been a strategic focus for Ooredoo for several years, and as demand for connectivity, data and AI infrastructure accelerates, its importance continues to grow.

Congratulations to Khalid Barzak who has been appointed as General Director of Al Abraj! Wishing him and his team the best of luck as they lead this next chapter.

Qatar is the first market to launch under our multi-market TowerCo initiative, with others expected to follow.
